Reflective clothing

Reflective clothing should be worn in all cases where there is no safety area (buffer zone) between working personel and any kind of traffic flow, e.g. at building sites or airports. The european standard for reflective clothing is regulated in the norm EN471. It defines three safety classes, in which class 3 is the highest safety level.

In Germany it is common to use clothing of classes 2 and 3, due to legal regulatoins. The norm EN471:2003 was officially established in April 2004.
