Breathing protection
We quote breathing protection equipment:
- Single-use mask
- Half mask and appendant filters
- Full face mask and appendant filters
Respiration filter:
| Filter type | Main application | Colour code |
|---|---|---|
| A | Fumes from organic compounds | brown |
| B | Mineral gases and fumes | grey |
| E | Sulfur dioxide, Hydrogen chloride | yellow |
| K | Ammoniac | green |
| P | particle | white |
Combination-filters protect against particles and gases. Please note the respective information for gas filters and particle filters.
| Filter class | Gas absorption | Max. gas concentration |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | low | 1000 ml/m3 |
| 2 | high | 5000 ml/m3 |
Single-use masks
| P1 | for firm harmful, fibrous particles (respirable dust until fourfold of the max. work station concentration), e.g. textile fiber, sulfur, cement, marble |
| P2 | for firm and smoky, less toxic particles (until tenfold of the max. work station concentration), e.g. carbon, metal, tin, welding fume |
| P2SL | for less toxic, oily exhalations |
| P2S | for organic fumes, unpleasant smell, liquid insecticides |
| P3 | for firm, toxic particles (until thirtyfold of the max. work station concentration), e.g. plumb, nickel, chromium |
| P3SL | for toxic, liquid aerosols, e.g. arsenic, cadmium |
Use a combination activated carbon / particle filter in case of solvents, gases, fumes and respirable dust appear coevally.
